The High-Altitude Color Expedition

Your journey begins with an early 4:00 AM pickup from Cusco, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive through the South Valley. Along the route, you pass traditional Inca terraces, remote villages, and vast Andean valleys framed by snowcapped peaks.

Andean Breakfast Stop

We stop in Cusipata for a freshly prepared breakfast surrounded by herds of llamas and alpacas grazing in the early morning light. This is your first real immersion into high-altitude rural Andean life before continuing to the trailhead.

From the moment we started the hike at KM 104 Carlos our guide was amazing and patient. we were surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, lush cloud forests, and fascinating Inca ruins.
